Frequently asked questions

Information you should have before subscribing.

Review how the service works, what membership includes, how billing and cancellation are managed, where information is stored and what the service does not provide.

What can I use without paying?

The two-minute check-in, emergency and crisis information, timed breathing and designated core exercises are available without an account. Paid membership provides access to the private dashboard and the additional tools and guided content included in the selected plan.

Is My Mind Is Ok a clinical or counselling service?

No. My Mind Is Ok provides general education, peer-informed self-management resources and practical wellbeing tools. It does not provide therapy, counselling, diagnosis, clinical monitoring, medical advice or emergency intervention, and it does not replace a general practitioner or qualified mental health professional.

How are membership payments processed?

Memberships are processed through secure Stripe Checkout and are available on a monthly or annual billing cycle. Unless cancelled, the subscription renews automatically at the interval selected during checkout. Stripe handles card details, receipts, invoices and payment-method updates.

How do I cancel a membership?

Open the billing portal from the member dashboard to manage or cancel the Stripe subscription. Dashboard access continues while the subscription remains active and closes when Stripe reports that the paid access period has ended. Cancellation does not affect separate WooCommerce product orders.

Where are free check-in and journal entries stored?

The free check-in and journal tools store entries in the browser on the device used. They are not added to an employer report. Entries can be removed using the relevant clear control or by clearing the browser's site data. Removing browser data, changing devices or using a private-browsing session may make those entries unavailable.

Can a sponsoring organisation see individual entries?

No. Individual check-in responses, journal entries and tool selections are not supplied to an employer or sponsoring organisation. Any future organisational reporting must be described before activation and limited to appropriately anonymised, aggregated information.

Are memberships and shop purchases connected?

They are separate services. Stripe manages digital membership subscriptions and member-dashboard access. WooCommerce manages physical products, the shopping cart, order payment and fulfilment. Purchasing a physical product does not create or extend a membership.

What should I do if I need urgent help?

If there is immediate danger or you cannot remain safe, call 000. Lifeline is available on 13 11 14. The website, contact form and member tools are not monitored as crisis services and should not be used to request emergency assistance.
