The Steady Year · Build

A twelve-month journey that cannot be rushed past.

Designed against binge-and-forget

Access follows elapsed membership time, not speed of completion.

A newly eligible member receives Month 1. Earlier released months remain open for review, while future lesson bodies stay server-gated. Monthly progression cannot exceed paid cycles, and annual members still progress according to elapsed membership month.

This protects the commercial value of the year, but more importantly it protects the learning design: a person can complete the current month early without being rewarded for racing through the next eleven.

A practice-first month

Understand. Retrieve. Rehearse. Use. Keep.

Each released month contains four structured sessions and a practice lab. Completing a session can create optional revisits at approximately two, seven and twenty-one days. The purpose is not to reread content endlessly but to retrieve, adapt and try it in ordinary life.

01

Understand

Learn one useful idea in plain language, at a depth matched to current capacity.

02

Retrieve and rehearse

Recall the principle and practise it while consequences are low.

03

Use and keep

Make a real-world plan, try it and save only what earns a place in the toolkit.

Four phases across a year

Ground. Move. Relate. Carry forward.

Months 1–3 · Ground

Build a minimum daily rhythm, support bench, difficult-day card and clearer ways to distinguish worry from a solvable problem.

Months 4–6 · Move

Work with action, low-energy days, load, boundaries and the design of a more sustainable week.

Months 7–9 · Relate

Practise grief/change support, connection, pausing, communication and non-diagnostic body-notice language.

Months 10–12 · Carry forward

Consolidate what works, recognise early signals, organise support and choose a realistic next ninety-day direction.

Tangible gains

The value should become visible before Month 12.

By Month 1

A foundation for difficult days

A minimum rhythm, support bench and personal difficult-day card.

By Month 3

A more workable worry process

A worry-or-problem rule, worry appointment and uncertainty plan.

By Month 6

A visible capacity system

A load map, early boundary and sustainable-week plan.

By Month 9

More language and choice

Body-notice language, grounding options and clearer relational limits.

By Month 12

A deliberately smaller toolkit

An early-action plan, support map and next ninety-day direction.

Throughout

Progress without perfection

Sessions practised, real-world tries, revisits and keep cards—not streaks, grades or public comparison.

Privacy and scope

A learning journey is not clinical monitoring.

Learning choices, notes, practice markers and keep cards remain in the current browser. MMIO does not infer a diagnosis, analyse writing for crisis, prescribe treatment or make personalised clinical recommendations. Future paid lesson content is not sent to the browser before release.
