Legal, privacy and governance

The rules, safeguards and accountability structure that apply to My Mind Is Ok.

Effective 6 September 2026Australian servicePlain-language policy
Important: These policies preserve rights that cannot legally be excluded. They do not make MMIO a clinical or emergency service.

A legal structure designed to be understood

MMIO is an independently operated Australian wellbeing education platform. These documents explain the agreement with members, the information practices around the service, the limits of the service, and the governance controls used to reduce avoidable harm and confusion.

This suite does not remove rights that Australian law gives you. Nothing in these policies excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, privacy right, health-information right or other remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

What is public and what is internal

These public documents explain the terms and safeguards a customer needs to understand. MMIO also maintains internal procedures for incident triage, eligible-data-breach assessment, complaints, evidence review, security events, legal holds, record retention and release approval. Internal procedures are not published in full because they contain operational security and response details, but their commitments are summarised here.
