Service Boundaries and Organisational Accountability

How MMIO defines its service boundary, independent operation and accountable public claims.

Effective 6 September 2026Australian servicePlain-language policy
Important: These policies preserve rights that cannot legally be excluded. They do not make MMIO a clinical or emergency service.

Independent operation

MMIO is an independently operated Australian wellbeing education platform.

MMIO is represented publicly through its products, policies, standards and official contact channels rather than through a personal credential story. Legal supplier details are kept in the Terms, invoices and formal correspondence, where they perform a clear legal and commercial function.

Service boundary

MMIO provides self-guided wellbeing education, structured tools and practical activities. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, therapy, nursing care, medical advice, crisis monitoring or emergency services.

Using MMIO does not create a therapeutic, clinical or nursing-care relationship. Private tool entries are not monitored or assigned to a person for review. Members remain responsible for choosing professional or urgent support when self-guided education is not appropriate or sufficient.

Organisational accountability

Independent operation does not reduce MMIO’s responsibility to identify the contracting supplier where required, keep accurate records, protect personal information, respond to lawful requests, maintain reliable products, correct known errors and cooperate with regulators, insurers and professional advisers.

  • Public claims must match the product, evidence, data practices and current operations.
  • Each material release should record an accountable owner, sources, checks, changes, known limits and rollback position.
  • Policies and product boundaries must be updated when functionality or information practices change.
  • Complaints, adverse feedback, privacy concerns and safety incidents must have a documented response route.

Content review and public claims

MMIO does not claim that unidentified nurses, clinicians, advisers, boards or other professionals review, approve or oversee its content. A professional or external review may be described only when it genuinely occurred and MMIO can document the reviewer, competence, scope, date, findings, conflicts and resulting action.

Internal product checks must be described as internal checks. They do not become clinical review, accreditation, regulator approval or professional endorsement merely because MMIO uses research or public guidance.

Future services

Any future live, moderated, clinical, nursing, coaching, assessment or individually delivered service requires a separately designed and governed model, with appropriate consent, records, complaints, scope, supervision, insurance, privacy and professional review completed before launch. A future clinical division must not silently change the boundary of the present self-guided platform.
