Communications and Marketing Consent

Transactional messages, optional marketing and unsubscribe controls.

Effective 6 September 2026Australian servicePlain-language policy
Important: These policies preserve rights that cannot legally be excluded. They do not make MMIO a clinical or emergency service.

Different types of messages

Transactional and service messages

MMIO may send messages needed to provide or secure the service, including receipts, renewal or payment notices, password and device verification, security alerts, material policy changes, support replies, cancellation confirmations and outage information.

Marketing messages

Product news, offers and promotional content are marketing. MMIO sends electronic marketing only with consent or another lawful basis and identifies the sender and a working unsubscribe method.

Consent is specific

Purchasing a membership does not give unlimited permission to send unrelated marketing forever. Marketing consent should be recorded separately where appropriate. Refusing marketing must not prevent receipt of necessary security, billing or account messages.

Unsubscribe

Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contact info@mymindisok.com. MMIO aims to process the request promptly and within the period required by Australian spam law. No fee is charged, and the unsubscribe route should not require a login or excessive personal information.

SMS and telephone

MMIO does not treat an email marketing consent as automatic consent to SMS or telemarketing. Any future SMS, messaging-app or telephone programme requires a separate compliance and consent review, including applicable do-not-call requirements.

Health and crisis content

Marketing systems must not infer a diagnosis, crisis or vulnerability from private writing or target a person because of sensitive health information. Urgent-support messages are service and safety information, not promotional pressure.

Records and providers

MMIO may use an email delivery provider and keeps the minimum records needed to send, suppress, secure and evidence communications. Unsubscribe records may be retained so that a person is not accidentally re-added.
